Fairway is a retirement living community managed by the team at Reside Communities, set next to the Pacific Golf Club in Carindale, offering residents direct access to championship golf greens and an award-winning clubhouse. Residents enjoy a heated pool, a state-of-the-art gym and vibrant social spaces, with more than 2,000sqm of recreational space on offer across the community.
Technology Built Around the Community
At Fairway, the goal was to give the team one place to manage resident profiles, bookings and the day-to-day running of the community, without adding complexity for residents or staff.
Generator’s Resident App and Operations Platform gives Reside Communities a single system to run Fairway, from the resident experience through to daily operations behind the scenes.
Residents now have one place to see what’s available and book time in shared social spaces, no more checking in with staff to find out what’s free. Maintenance requests are just as simple, submitted in a few taps rather than a phone call or an email that might take a while to reach the right person.
The Generator Lifestyle App has become an essential tool for our Community, making it easier than ever to manage daily tasks and as an added tool to connect with our residents. Residents rely on it every day to access important updates, coordinate, or book activities, and interact with one another, creating a stronger sense of unity within the village.

At its heart, Fairway is about more than golf course views and well-appointed apartments, it’s about the people who call it home. Through the app, residents can see what’s on across the community at a glance, whether that’s a social morning, a get-together at the clubhouse or a fitness class.

With clear insight into what residents are engaging with, from care services through to social activities, Reside Communities can shape Fairway’s calendar around what people want, rather than guesswork. Over time, that’s what turns a community into one where residents feel at home.
It’s easy to get notifications through the app about what’s happening. That way, no one feels left out or disconnected. We spend so much more time outside our units. There’s always something going on, cards, cinema, Tai Chi, golf. It really keeps you connected.
Most residents do not want to just sit in their room. They want to be part of the community, to do things, to see people.

What’s Ahead for Reside Communities
Fairway Carindale is one part of a much bigger picture for Reside Communities, who also run Esperance Hope Island, Brookland Robertson, Samford Grove and Maleny Grove. Construction on Fairway’s first stage brought 52 apartments to life alongside a new clubhouse, restaurant, bar and café, complete with a golf simulator and putt putt course.
With the final stage of Fairway due for completion later this year, the community is set to grow to 191 apartments across seven boutique buildings, with a full suite of amenities including a heated pool, gym, wellness spaces and golf course viewing platforms still to come.
As each of these communities grows, Generator gives Reside a consistent way to support residents and simplify operations, no matter which stage a community is at or which one residents call home. For a sector built on personalised care and connection, that consistency matters just as much as the golf course views. It’s what allows every Reside community, from Fairway through to its sister villages, to spend less time on admin and more time with the people living there.
